The Studies in Western Tapestry web site is at the hub of worldwide tapestry
research. It offers art historians, historians and all tapestry amateurs
a survey of tapestry news and current tapestry research.
It provides a critical tapestry bibliography and information on the
scholarly series Studies
in Western Tapestry published by Brepols Publishers (Turnhout/New
York).
The Studies in Western Tapestry web site is mastered by Guy Delmarcel
(Katholieke Universiteit Leuven) and Koenraad Brosens (F.W.O. Vlaanderen/Katholieke
Universiteit Leuven).

Museum News: Burrell Tapestries Research Project
The final issue of Studies in the Decorative Arts has recently been published.
The first volume of the journal was published in 1993. All issues will be availabele on JSTOR in the near future.
We, and undoubtedly all other tapestry scholars, would very much like to thank Sarah
'Sally' B. Sherrill, Editor, for her meticulous work and enthusiasm. As a versatile scholar and
editor, Sally not only encouraged tapestry scholars to contribute to the journal, but also
did a lot to improve the quality of the articles.
